Production Flow of Polished Porcelain Tiles
During my working, I always show our clients to our factory for visit. Some of them are very professional. They work with Italy and Spain factory for a long time But most of all only know a little bit. Ok, let"s follow me now.
Just Imagine that making porcelain tiles is like making cookies: 1.Get the wheat meal, 2. press to shape , 3. fire. Then cookies come out.
1. For polished porcelain tiles, the “wheat meal” is the powder. It is made from stone, sand and mud.
How to make the three materials into powder? it need 4 processes.
A. Mixed in prorate.

B. Ball mill with water (Need 12-14 hours),
C. Spray Tower Drying
D. Reserve and Staleness
If you see the tiny black spot in the surface of the polished porcelain tiles, In fact it is tiny iron. Because the powder mix with iron. If you see the tiny hole in the body, it is the powder mix with weeds. When fire, it disapear then leave a hole there.
2. Press to shape. The pressure machine can shape in size what we want: 600x600mm 800x800mm 1000x1000mm. The pressure is from 3500 tons to 7200 tons.
3. Fire in kiln. The kiln is 260 metre in our factory, inside tempreture is 1240℃. The kiln only stop one year one time, in China, it is during the Chinese New Year.
4.Polished.
Then polished porcelain tiles come out.
